The European SME Week was an initiative promoted by the European Commission in 2009 to boost entrepreneurship in Europe. Third edition developed in 2011, the main events of which will take place from 3 to 9 October.
Its objective is to offer a common framework to all organized events that aim to promote entrepreneurship, competitiveness, and innovation and which wish to form part of a European framework.
The European SME Week has the following objectives:
In Spain the Directorate-General of SME Policy (DGPYME) and the Spanish Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs (CEAJE) represent the national contact point for this initiative.
