Enterprise Europe Network is one of the most important sources of support for European SMEs thanks to its efforts to increase both innovation and competitiveness. It includes more than 500 business organizations that form approximately 70 consortiums covering the entire territory of the European Union. The objectives of the new network are to integrate the services previously provided by the EICs and IRCs into just one organization, offer greater geographical proximity, increase the quality and professionalism of the services, and simplify administrative proceedings.
More specifically, the Enterprise Europe Network offers the following services:
1.- Assistance for companies working towards internacionalization.
2.- Services related to the Innovation of new products.
3.- Access to EU projects and financing.
4.- It provides information to the European Commission. The network will act as a two-way network between companies and the Commission, sending information and points of view in both directions.
