The 2011 Action Plan for Entrepreneurial Support (PAAE)

The 2011 Action Plan for Entrepreneurial Support of the Directorate-General of SME Policy is a series of important activities and programmes. It has a budget of €84 million to mobilize more than €300 million that facilitate the creation and consolidation of almost 5,000 new companies.

The Plan consolidates and strengthens all the new items set up in 2010 in the form of pilot experiences such as the “Business Continuity Plan”, the "Programme for Promoting Entrepreneur Centres (CEAE)”, ENISA's “Line of Credits for Young Entrepreneurs” and the “Programme to Support Business Angel Networks”.

One of the most important new items included in the Plan for 2011 is the setting up of a “Guarantee Programme for Entrepreneurs” through the Spanish Refinancing Company (CERSA). This new programme aims to facilitate the awarding of €200 million each year in financial guarantees for new business projects.
