Entrepreneurial Initiative 

Entrepreneurship is crucial for the generation of employment, wealth, and social well-being in all modern, competitive economies.

To promote this, the Directorate General of SME policy (Dirección General de Política de la PYME) is to set up three new tools in 2010:

• Programme for Promoting Entrepreneur Support Centres (Centros de Apoyo al Emprendedor - CEAEs) (in the pipeline)
• Business Continuity Plan – (BCP) (in the pipeline)
• Program of impulse to Business Angel Networks (in the pipeline)

In addition to these new tools, the following will also be available:

• New lines of financing for entrepreneurs from the Spanish National Company for Innovation (ENISA)
• Micro-credits for female entrepreneurs from the Spanish National Company for Innovation (ENISA)
• Refinancing (up to 75%) of the guarantees issued by the Mutual Guarantee Associations to entrepreneurs through the Spanish Refinancing Company (CERSA)
• Program of impulse to Business Angel Networks (in the pipeline)
• Initiative "Emprendemos Juntos"
• Enterprise Creation Advisory and Initiation Points
