Creation of the network of One-Stop Corporate Shops (1999)

In 1999, the network of One-Stop Corporate Shop (VUE in its Spanish acronym) was set up by means of agreements between the General State Administration (Ministry of the Economy and the Exchequer, Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, and the Ministry for the Public Administrations), the Regional Governments, local bodies and the Superior Council of Chambers of Commerce. Its goal was to create a network of offices at which to provide comprehensive services for the citizens interested in obtaining information about setting up companies and handling all the administrative matters related to the incorporation of businesses. It was an attempt to stress the creation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises.
